Union Pacific’s “Big Boy” is on the move.
Big Boy no. 40-14, one of the largest steam locomotives ever built, is slated to be restored.
Big Boy left Calfiornia Monday morning on a nearly 1,300 mile journey to Cheyenne, Wyo. for restoration that will talke five years.
The locomotive will be towed by current Union Pacific locomotives that will pass through Las Vegas, Salt Lake City and Ogden.
