SPANISH FORK, Utah — A Woodland Hills man suffered non-life threatening injuries after he was hurt in an industrial accident in Spanish Fork, police said Tuesday evening.
Spanish Fork Police responded to Spanish Fork Metals, located at 1600 N. 200 East, when a 40-year-old man got pinned in the cab of the track-hoe he was operating, according to police spokesman Courtney Jones.
Jones said the vicitm was using the track-hoe crane to dismantle a piece of heavy equipment when a large part the machine shifted on the crane and crashed into the track-hoe’s cab.
Spanish Fork firefighters rescued the man and the vicitm was air lifted to an area hospital. Police say the man is currently in stable condition.
