SANDY, Utah — A representative for the Sandy Police Department said detectives have been reviewing footage from a Canyons School District school bus to determine if a driver sexually abused one or more students.
School district officials notified police of the potential abuse and gave them three months worth of video to examine.
Police said Monday afternoon that they have not made an arrest, but they have identified a suspect and they’re in the process of handing the case over to the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office.
The suspect’s name was not released.
