SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake City police are looking for three people who allegedly stole beer from a 7-Eleven store.

The robbery occurred around midnight at 1353 W Indiana Avenue.  Police said at least one of the suspects brandished a handgun during the robbery and only beer was taken.

“They just took the beer. Nothing was taken from the register,” said Sgt. Joe Sturzenegger, SLCPD.

After the robbery, Sturzenegger said, the suspects fled on foot.

Police deployed a K-9 officer in an attempt to locate the suspects.

The suspects were described as juvenile males, possibly Hispanic or white. One of them was wearing a Kottonmouth Kings jacket.

Police hope surveillance video will help them identify the suspects.

No one was hurt in the robbery.

Anyone with information that may help police in their investigation is asked to call police at (801) 799-3000 or call 911.
