SALT LAKE CITY – Authorities have charged a man for murder in the deaths of a couple killed in Mount Pleasant in 2011.
Logan McFarland, 24, faces charges that include two counts of aggravated murder and one count each of aggravated burglary and aggravated robbery as first-degree felonies.
McFarland was sought in connection with the deaths of Woody and Ann Fullwood, and in 2012 police said they sought McFarland in connection with the case after items belonging to the Fullwoods were found in McFarland’s possession.
Police said McFarland has been a suspect in the killings, but officials waited until McFarland wrapped up proceedings in another court case in Nevada. A Nevada court sentenced McFarland to 56 years in prison Wednesday for crimes committed there.
