DRAPER, Utah -- Approximately 400 Utah prisoners are receiving their high school diplomas this month in ceremonies at the state's two correctional facilities.

One of those ceremonies was held Wednesday morning at the Utah State Prison in Draper.  About 260 male and female graduates of varying ages gathered in the Timpanogos Women's Facility at the prison for their graduation.

"I have grown a lot and I've changed a lot and it feels good," said Sarah Close, one of the graduates of the prison's South Park Academy.

Now that she has finished her high school education, Close, 23, plans to enroll in the prison's culinary arts program.
