MILLARD COUNTY, Utah – Northbound I-15 was closed near mile marker 163 in Millard County after an accident Sunday afternoon, but about an hour later the scene had been cleared.
According to the Utah Department of Transportation’s traffic website, the crash impacted both lanes of northbound I-15.
Officials with Utah Highway Patrol told FOX 13 News traffic wass being diverted to an off-ramp near the crash. Officials said a helicopter was requested at the scene, but they said they weren’t certain if one was actually dispatched.
Initial reports indicate injuries are minor, officials said, but it was not clear how many people were injured or how many vehicles were involved.
