WASHINGTON TERRACE, Utah — Two Weber County towns are experiencing street flooding due to rain and backed up storm drains, according to officials Tuesday.

Sgt. Lane Findlay with Weber County Sheriff’s Office confirmed flooding reports in Washington Terrace at 4900 South and 380 West.

Findlay said Marriott-Slaterville is also experiencing flooding due to back-up storm drains at 1200 West and 700 South.

Findlay said the problem in Marriott-Slaterville was caused by rain on top of a broken 12-inch water main.

More information will be provided as it becomes available.
