OGDEN, Utah — A man who police said admitted to killing his friend is expected to appear in court Wednesday.
Shawn Gerrald Boehme, 45, confessed to shooting Elgie Mills, Jr. during an argument in late May, according to police.
Mills’ body was found in a workshop on May 29, and police named Boehme as a person of interest in the victim’s death.
One week later, Boehme was arrested in Layton for criminal homicide.
The 45 year old has a long criminal history.
