PROVO, Utah — Six animals from the Humane Society of Utah were featured in a new Freshpet commercial, which features a holiday dinner with all of the expected personas–but each is played by a cat or a dog rather than a human.

The video, “Freshpet Holiday Feast – 13 Dogs and 1 Cat Eating with Human Hands” was put together by Provo-based ShareAbility, according to a press release from HSU. The animals and humans put together the piece in a 5-hour shoot.

“It was amazing – the energy there was so fun and we were thrilled to be there,” stated Lisa Burningham, the HSU Volunteer Coordinator who attended the shoot, in the press release. “We had so many awesome dogs and their personalities were adorable.”

One goal of the project was to showcase some of the shelter animals awaiting adoption. According to the press release from HSU,Freshpet is matching the adoption fees for any of the animals in the video by giving a donation to HSU and providing the adopting family with a care package filled with goodies from Freshpet.
