OREM, Utah - Orem is offering a large reward for information that leads to an arrest in the Orem arson cases.

City leaders, Realtors and the local development community came together to put up the $12,500 reward.

Officials said they hope this reward helps catch those responsible for setting fire to two apartment buildings under construction in the last few of months.

The first fire on Dec. 19 destroyed a construction project near State St. and 900 N.

Just last week someone torched an off-duty Provo police officer's patrol car before setting fire to another construction project near State St. and 400 S.

Authorities said they believe the same suspects started both fires.

If you have information about the fires, you can reach authorities at (801) 229-7321. You can remain anonymous.
