MURRAY, Utah - Officials have a suspect in custody after a grass fire in Murray Tuesday evening.
Police arrested a minor they said they have dealt with in the past.
His identity has not been released because he is a juvenile.
Authorities said they believe the boy could be responsible for the fire in the back of several homes along Riverside Dr. bordering the Jordan River Parkway trail in Murray.
The fire raged out of control until four fire departments, and several homeowners, were able to contain the flames.
The blaze damaged a radio tower which collapsed, the wetlands and sections of a wooden bridge along the river trail.
Murray Fire Marshal Pat Killian didn't want to put an estimate on the damage but said it appears it could easily be tens of thousands of dollars.
Officials have not said what charges the juvenile could be facing.
