SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Transit Authority set up a bus bridge after a crash involving a vehicle and a TRAX train in Salt Lake City Friday night.

UTA tweeted around 7:18 p.m. that an incident was blocking both rails of the Red Line at 400 South and 400 East and that a bus bridge between the library and Trolley Square had been activated. A photo from the scene shows a TRAX train that appears to have collided with another vehicle.

At about 8:20 p.m. officials said trains had begun moving in the area again. One woman on the TRAX train who is pregnant was taken to a hospital after the crash as a precaution.
