SALT LAKE CITY - Students at Rowland Hall are calling on Utah policy makers to take advantage of solar power in our state.

The school itself is already solar-powered and has been since 2010.

State Senator Luz Excamilla and local homeowners joined the students at the school Tuesday morning at the same time energy experts and Rocky Mountain Power met at the Public Service Commission to talk costs and benefits of rooftop solar power.
