OGDEN, Utah - Police arrested a suspect in connection with a man found dead in an Ogden street Monday morning, and Wednesday formal charges were filed in the homicide case.
Andrew Dominic Esquer, 30, was booked into Weber County Jail on charges of homicide and obstruction of justice earlier in the week, and Wednesday he was formally charged on both of those counts.
Authorities discovered the victim at about 4 a.m. in the area of 29th Childs Ave. Officers say the man appeared to be in his early 30s.
The victim was identified as William Patrick Hicks.
Esquer is scheduled to appear in court July 15.
The family is accepting donations to help get Hicks back to his hometown of Richmond, Indiana.
