SALT LAKE CITY –Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Sam Smith has rescheduled a concert in Salt Lake City after undergoing surgery on his vocal cords, and all concert tickets will be honored at the later date.
According to a press release from United Concerts issued Friday, the performance scheduled for August 5 at the Maverik Center in Salt Lake City has been moved back, “to allow for additional healing time” after the surgery.
The show has been rescheduled for October 2 at the Maverik Center. The press release states that “all tickets will be honored. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause”
The release states that all other tour dates will proceed as scheduled.
