Police seek public’s help finding person of interest in SLC bank robbery

SALT LAKE CITY — Police seek the public’s help in locating a person of interest in a bank robbery Monday.

Salt Lake City police are looking for Christopher James Martinez, 20, as a person of interest in connection to a robbery at Zions Bank, 1635 S. Redwood Road.

On Monday, police say the suspect entered the bank, approached a teller and demanded money. The teller complied and the suspect fled east on foot.

Martinez has black hair and brown eyes. He is about 5 feet 11 inches tall and 200 pounds.
