He’s known as a fascinating and creepy character in books, television and film, but one man found another avenue for Hannibal Lecter: a means for impeding a guy who was harassing his sister.
According to a posting on imgur.com, user “lucy2shoes” (real name not given) occasionally comes across men at bars who “won’t take no for an answer.”
“Doesn’t matter that I tell them I’m not interested, I have a boyfriend, we own a home together, I’m never leaving him, I just want to hang out with my friends, so on and so forth. After failed attempts to get rid of them, I usually can get them to leave me alone if I give them my number. So, I give them my big brother’s,” she wrote in the posting.
In one instance, lucy2shoes’ brother started receiving text messages from one of the men, and he responded with quotes from Hannibal Lecter. Surprisingly, the conversation carried on well past the first couple of messages. See the conversation below:
