Attempted U-turn ends in 3-car crash on Redwood Road

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah — An attempted U-turn on Redwood Road Saturday night ended in a three-car crash sending five people to the hospital.

At about 11:15 p.m., a motorist in a white sedan traveling south on Redwood Road made a U-turn at 4000 South and struck a tow truck, said Lt. Dalan Taylor with West Valley City police.

The sedan then hit a northbound silver SUV, causing it to roll.

Taylor said there were two occupants in the SUV, both were adults. There were two adults and one child in the sedan. Everyone was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.
