ROY, Utah — A 6-year-old boy in Weber County decided he wanted a “police birthday party”, so he put an invitation on the door of a deputy’s vehicle—and that deputy came through on the big day.

According to a post from the Weber County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy LacQuay was the lucky officer invited, so he put on his uniform and drove his sheriff’s office vehicle to the home on Cort’s birthday.

The post states, “The kids had a great time checking out the truck and equipment along with asking Deputy LacQuay A LOT of questions!”

The post included several photos from the event and ended with a Happy Birthday wish for young Cort.
