David Broderick and Idol stopped by FOX 13's Good Day Utah to show us some of Idol's amazing talents. Watch the video above to see what happened.
On September 30, David Broderick from Lake Point, Utah, and his dog, 4-year-old Belgian Malinios, Idol, competed for the world championships in Batice, Belgium.
Competing against the top 50 dogs in the world from over a dozen different countries, David and Idol finished in second place after four days of competition.
The US team took first place over all in a European dominated sport.
The championship is limited to 50 competitors so it is required to first win a slot to be on team USA.
Broderick is one of the head trainers for Innovative K9 Academy where he rehabilitates some of the most aggressive dogs in Utah.
He is also involved with police K9 consulting, working with rescue groups and training then donating PTSD service dogs to veterans.
