WEST JORDAN, Utah — A West Jordan Police Department officer is receiving praise for helping take care of children as their young mother was filing a domestic violence case.

A records clerk for WJPD captured photos of Officer Lofgran holding and bottle-feeding the woman’s baby.

“He spent hours on this call. Thank you for your service!,” a Facebook post from WJPD said.
