SALT LAKE CITY — The rear of a vacant building near downtown Salt Lake City collapsed early Saturday evening.
Salt Lake City Fire and Police Departments were called to 155 E. 1st Ave. to a “partial building collapse” across from Hillcrest Apartments.
Emergency crews closed a nearby road and evacuated nearby buildings, according to SLCFD Capt. Adam Archuleta.
