MAGNA, Utah — The University of Utah Seismograph Stations recorded a 2.7 magnitude aftershock near Magna just before 3:00 Saturday morning.
There have been hundreds of aftershocks following the 5.7 magnitude earthquake that hit the same area on March 18.
Experts say aftershocks are a common occurrence for days or even weeks following a major earthquake.
While multiple people reportedly felt the aftershock, there have been no damages or injuries reported as a result of it.
