BOX ELDER COUNTY, Utah — The Box Elder County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a bull under "suspicious circumstances."

The range bull was found dead by its owners on Sept. 30 along the Ingham Pass road. It was valued at $7,000 and owned by Brent and Bill Rose of Park Valley.

A necropsy was performed but was inconclusive in determining the cause of the animal's death.

Authorities are asking anyone who was in the Ingham Pass area between Sept. 24, when it was last seen alive, and Sept. 30 to contact Sgt. Steve Eddington at 435-734-3874.

The bull's owners, along with the Utah Department of Agriculture, the Utah Cattlemen's Association and the Utah Farm Bureau, are offering a $4,000 reward for information leading to the arrest, prosecution and conviction of anyone involved in its death.
