KAYSVILLE, Utah — All of the toilet paper has been stolen from the Kaysville Police Department's public restrooms.

In a post on the department's Facebook page, police wonder if someone is hoarding toilet paper as part of preparing for the coronavirus.

"The Kaysville Community must be in a state of crisis that someone has resorted to obtaining all the toilet paper from the KPD’s public restrooms. We love our community and we are here to serve you, but cops need toilet paper too!" the post states.

The post ends with a reference to power poles.

"Let’s go back to the days of obsessing over power poles!"

Just before noon, the Kaysville Police Department tweeted an update:

It said a kind citizen donated toilet paper to the police department saying, "You need this more than I do."
