Amber Alert issued for missing Idaho boy

RATHDRUM, Idaho — An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing 6-year-old boy out of Rathdrum, Idaho.

Investigators with Idaho State Police are searching for Leo Isador Hiibel-Cloutier. Leo was last seen Thursday morning at 15837 N Westwood Dr in Rathdrum and is believed to be in imminent danger.

Police have identified a suspect as Mimi Charmayne Hiibel who is Leo’s mother but is the non-custodial parent. Police say she could possibly be traveling to Oklahoma or Nevada.

Officials have found a car related to the suspect but the child is still missing.

Leo is described as a four-foot male, 70 pounds, with black hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing black corduroy pants, a white t-shirt, black tennis shoes and a camouflage hooded jacket.

The suspect is described as a white female with brown hair and green eyes, five feet four inches tall and weighs 145 pounds. It is unknown what she was last wearing but police describe a tattoo as a “tattoo on the back of her left hand near the thumb in the shape of a ‘J’.”
