HOLDEN, Utah — A 39-year-old woman has died after her vehicle rolled multiple times Saturday night.
According to a statement from the Utah Department of Public Safety, the accident happened just before 8:00 p.m. on southbound I-15 near mile post 175.
A white 2015 Chevrolet Impala drifted onto the left shoulder and over-corrected, causing the vehicle to leave the road and roll several times.
The driver, identified as Melanie Meguerditchian, was not wearing a seat belt, and was ejected through the sunroof. She was the only person in the vehicle.
A trooper began CPR when they arrived on scene.
Meguerditchian was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Police are investigating the accident, and are considering both speed and impairment as contributing factors.
