SALT LAKE COUNTY — Officials say some type of explosions caused a fire in Salt Lake County Wednesday afternoon that burned in an area between Interstate-15 and Interstate-215.

Heavy smoke could be seen on FOX 13s Natural History Museum camera near 1700 South 900 West before firefighters were able to put out the fire. The fire began around 2:30 p.m.

No injuries were reported and it is believed the fire was human-caused, although it has not yet been confirmed.
