SALT LAKE CITY — Part of I-15 was closed Wednesday afternoon after a gravel spill.

The southbound lanes of the interstate were shut down at 3300 South while crews worked to clear the roadway.
Utah Highway Patrol said a few vehicles were hit by the gravel after a truck spilled the material, but there were no reported injuries.
