EDEN, Utah — The pilot of a homemade plane is OK after a crash in Eden Wednesday morning.

The crash occurred around 11:39 near 3230 N Highway 162.

A Weber County Sheriff's Office spokesman said the pilot took off from a field but was unable to gain sufficient altitude in the single-engine plane.

The plane hit a fence post and tumbled into a nearby shed, the Sheriff's Office spokesman said.

No one was injured.
