MAGNA, Utah — Unified Police detectives are investigating a shooting that left a man injured in Magna early Tuesday morning.
Police received a report of shots fired in the area of 7200 W 3500 S around 2 a.m.
When officers arrived, they found a man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim went to a hospital and he is expected to recover.
Police have the suspected shooter in custody and they said there is no threat to the public.
It's unclear whether or not the suspect and victim new each other.
