Tuesday’s wind storm knocked out power across the state, and Sunday morning, crews are still working to get it restored.

According to the Utah Division of Emergency Management, 1,868 outages were still impacting 15,514 Rocky Mountain Power customers as of 8:30 a.m.

By Sunday night, that number was 5,352.

The outages are reported across Weber, Davis and Salt Lake counties.

According to the Rocky Mountain Power website, “Work continues around the clock to repair the damage from the unprecedented wind storm. Crews are making progress restoring power to all customers along with help from other utilities. While most customers will be restored by Sunday night, some repairs will continue into Monday and Tuesday.”
