WASATCH COUNTY, Utah — A motorcycle rider died Sunday afternoon after failing to negotiate a curve in the highway in Wasatch County.
The accident happened around 12:40 p.m. on State Route 35, mile marker 19, according to Utah Highway Patrol. The area of the crash is located just north of Wolf Creek Campground.
UHP said the person was riding with a group of other motorcyclists eastbound on the highway when they went off the road and crashed. They died from their injuries, despite wearing a helmet and other protective gear.
The victim was not named.
