UTAH COUNTY, Utah — One person was killed early Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash on State Road 6 near Goshen.
According to Utah Highway Patrol, troopers were on the scene starting around 6 a.m.
The Department of Public Safety said a Chevy Impala was headed east on SR-6 at the same time a Ford F-150 was heading west. For an unknown reason, the F-150 crossed the center line into oncoming traffic and struck the Impala head-on.
The driver of the Impala was killed on impact and the driver of the F-150 was taken to a local hospital by air in critical condition.
Police suspected impairment may have been a contributing factor.
