A pilot flying a small plane crashed on the bank of the Colorado River Saturday morning near the Utah-Colorado border.

The 2-seater Cub plane was flying from Moab to Grand Junction, Colorado, according to the Mesa County Sheriff's Office.

The pilot, a 37-year-old man from Grand Junction, landed upside down partially in the river in Knowles Canyon. Rescue crews responded, but the pilot sustained only minor injuries.
