PARK CITY, Utah — Park City police are searching for a group of suspects who are currently running a credit card fraud ring in the city.

Authorities say the suspects make fraudulent online credit card transactions to rent hotel rooms in Park City for up to five days. While staying at the hotels, the suspects burglarize vehicles and steal additional credit cards.

The group has used the credit cards at restaurants, retail stores and gas stations. Police say there may be more than one group currently working in Park City.

Residents are warned not to confront the suspects, but should immediately call 911 if fraudulent credit card activity is suspected.

Anyone with information on the group is asked to call the Park City Police dispatch office at 435-615-5500.
