SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department has released the name of a man whose body was found in the Jordan River Sunday afternoon.
According to police, a group of kayakers discovered the body of 35-year-old Eric Granados partially submerged around 1:15 p.m.
An SLCPD spokesman told FOX 13 it did not appear Granados' body had been in the water for very long.
The investigation into Granados' death is ongoing.
