WEST VALLEY CITY — West Valley Police are looking for two people they say stole a Ford Mustang and drove it into a bank building in Midvale.

Late Thursday night, detectives were patrolling the city.

They saw the Mustang, ran a license check and determined it was stolen.

The officers flashed their lights and the pair in the car sped off.

The car was later found crashed into the wall of a First Utah Bank branch located at 7070 South State Street.

"Right now, I'm mostly looking at the video from the bank because they usually have pretty good video surveillance around the builidng," said Sgt. Jacob Palmer with WVCPD. "I'm hoping we can get some good video of them and put that information out that somebody will be able to identify them."

Investigators are asking people in the area if they saw anything unusual or if they have any security camera video to contact the West Valley Police Department.
