SWEETWATER COUNTY, Wyo. — The Sweetwater County Sheriff's Office arrested the mayor of the Town of Granger on multiple charges Thursday, including felony theft.

Mayor Bradly S. McCollum, 55, was the subject of a months-long investigation into purchases he allegedly made for his personal vehicle and property with the town's bank cards.

McCollum, who was elected mayor in 2018, is accused of making four purchases totaling over $1,300 during a six-month period in 2019. Officials say the card was used for tires, fuel and replacement parts for a furnace at his rental property in New York state.

McCollum was charged with suspected felony theft and misdemeanor wrongful appropriation of public property. If convicted of felony theft, the mayor could face up to ten years in jail and a fine not more than $10,000.
