Angel Studio's DAVID has become the highest-grossing faith-based animated theatrical opening of all time, raking in $22 million at the opening weekend box office in the U.S.
That makes it the best theatrical opening in the Utah-based company's history.
DAVID is now in theaters worldwide.
The movie features the music of multi-platinum artist Phil Wickham and tells the story of David vs. Goliath.
