On September 11, 2026, to mark the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, more than 450 volunteers from Salt Lake City will join a massive nationwide movement to "Honor Through Action."
It could be the largest annual day of service in United States history as 50,000 volunteers across the country will pack more than 17 million meals.
Here in Utah, volunteers will pack more than 170,000 healthy, non-perishable meals that will be donated to Utah Food Bank.
It's happening on September 11 from 9am to 11am at the Jon M. Huntsman Center and you can visit 911day.org/meal-packs-support-staff to join the effort.
