There are physical and mental benefits of spa services

As part of our Healthier Together partnership with Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Utah, Budah found out about the physical and mental health benefits related to spa services.

Regence says one of the things they've seen on data is that mental well-being is very important. Sometimes we forget to take time off and clear the mind, be mindful and focus.

What better place to do that than at the Cliff Spa at Snowbird? They have re-opened and are putting an emphasis on COVID-19 safety precautions.

You can get pedicures, manicures and massages and the pool, spa and hot tub are open. The workout room is also available. They are limiting the people allowed in the space to keep people safe. For more information on services, please visit: snowbird.com/spa.

On days you can't make it to the spa, Regence says there are things you can do at home. Yoga is a great way to get focused. You may also want to try breath exercises in the morning -- close your eyes for 10 seconds and focus on breathing in and out. That will set your day and help with your mental well being.
