NEPHI, Utah — A driver is dead following a crash between a car and a semi early Thursday morning near Nephi.
Utah Highway Patrol tells FOX 13 News that the crash was first reported to them at 6:15 a.m.
According to Utah Highway Patrol, a Toyota Corolla was driving westbound on State Route 132 near mile marker 30 when it swerved into the eastbound lanes and hit a semi head-on.
The 32-year-old driver of the Corolla died at the scene; his identity isn't being revealed at this time. The semi driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The roadway was closed for about 4 hours while the investigation took place.
