SAN JUAN COUNTY, Utah — Heavy rain and flooding have forced Thursday closures within the San Juan School District.
Schools in Bluff, Montezuma Creek, and Monument Valley will be closed on September 17.
Bus routes in these areas are unable to operate under current road conditions.
Students living in the affected communities who attend Blanding will be excused from class on Thursday.
The safety of our students and staff is our highest priority. We will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates as needed.
