PULAU-PULAU TALAUD, Indonesia — A magnitude 6.5 earthquake hit the Talaud islands in Indonesia Saturday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The quake was reported just before 3:00 p.m. local time, approximately 8:00 a.m. Mountain time. The epicenter is approximately 152 miles north-northwest of Tobelo, North Malaku.
So far, there have been no reports of casualties or major damage.
