UPDATE: The boil order was lifted Friday.
CEDAR CITY, Utah -- A boil water order was issued Wednesday for parts of Cedar City after possible E. coli contamination was detected.
The areas under the order include:
- 200 South to Shurtz Canyon Drive
- All areas east of Main Street
City officials say the system is currently being flushed and tested after samples collected Monday showed the possible contamination. The order will remain in effect until a 100% negative test is returned.
