MOAB, Utah — A man died Thursday following a BASE jumping accident near Moab, officials said.
The Grand County Sheriff's Office received a call just after 6 p.m. regarding the accident along State Road 128.
After arriving on the scene, deputies, along with search and rescue members, found 27-year-old Jesus Miguel Diaz unresponsive, and later pronounced him dead. He was from New Mexico.
