PARK CITY, Utah — A man was killed Wednesday after the car he was driving drifted into traffic in Park City, causing the fatal collision.
According to UHP, 53-year-old Daniel Wakefield of Orem was heading down the hill on Marsac Avenue near the Dear Valley ski area when he drifted into traffic heading the other way. After hitting a pickup truck, the Wakefield's car was hit by another truck on the passenger's side.

A Utah Highway Patrol official said Wakefield was pronounced dead at the scene. No other drivers involved in the accident suffered serious injuries.
The accident forced the closure of a large section of Marsac Avenue in both directions.
