DUCHESNE COUNTY, Utah — A small plane crashed Friday in Duchesne County, sending all six people on board to the hospital.

According to the Duchesne County Sheriff's Office, the Cessna T210M took off Friday morning from Roosevelt and began having engine trouble during the flight.

It crashed near a group campground just south of Moon Lake around 11:45 a.m.

One man on the plane was flown to Utah Valley Hospital by medical helicopter with serious injuries, but deputies said they do not appear to be life-threatening.

The five other occupants — one man, two women and two teenagers — were transported by ambulance to Uintah Basin Medical Center in Roosevelt. The severity of their injuries or medical conditions were not released.

The Federal Aviation Administration will conduct an investigation into the crash.
